Arbuckle Food Center Reviews

Tried the pizza advertised for the first time. It was very good! Ordered the extra large combination. Would buy again.

Great little store! Neat, clean, and the people are so nice! They have a great meat counter /deli in the back and even make fresh pizzas!

This review is for the pizza. Their pizza is great! Crust is perfect and it's not too salty. You can order by phone. Wait time is 20-25 min. We ordered a large half Hawaiian and half combo. Both are delicious. We paid $26.86 including tax. This is a local business.

Pizza is great and so is the friendly faces. It's a place where everyone know you and all are super helpful. We love the thin crust pizza and they seem to have the groceries when I can't find it at other stores.

The pizza was great and very reasonable I highly recommend this place . It's a good idea to order your pizza ahead of time because they get really busy

We live in Dunnigan; Arbuckle Food Center is the closest actual grocery store to us. So we go there for "quick trips," which is kind of an inside joke for us, since it is a 15 minute drive, door-to-door. We just discovered that they are probably THE closest pizza place, so we tried it out. "Nirvana" is a very good description! Pizza is one of those things that seems easy to make, but takes dedication to make RIGHT! They obviously have that dedication, because our "meat lovers" and "veggie lovers" pizzas were incredible! Frankly, we were both sitting here on Friday night wondering what we wanted for dinner, and both said "arbuckle pizza." They're going into my speed-dial...

We love this place! All the workers are so kind! We are also super happy to have such good pizza in such a small town! Definitely our favorite. We highly suggest trying the wings too, they are SO good!

Have been shopping here my whole life, but the new owners have really poured their love and attention into it. New freezers, new refrigerators for beverages and a crazy amount of unique beers and fun drinks like hard cider and canned spirits. I used to have to go to Williams to find a better selection, but not any more. Their butcher counter is amazing. Never had a bad cut, and really enjoy their pre marinated items as well. Great flavor. They always have the best staff behind the meat counter, always friendly and helpful. Don't be afraid to ring the bell if you don't see anyone - they might be in the walk in prepping an order. The pizza - the what? You might be thinking. Well, they put in a pizza oven and holy cow is it amazing. I remember when they first got it and were testing sauce and dough recipes, kept asking for feed back on the slice they would hand you while you shopped. They really took the time to perfect their pizza and man, is it delicious! So glad the new owners have given the store some TLC and invested in our tiny town. Love having the store so close.

I give a 5 star because of the service. I went in on a Saturday night and put an hour in. I failed to recall the name of the guy working there but they were slammed with orders and he was totally consumed with work and kept his composure throughout. Outside of the service, the pizza was absolutely exceptional. As many pizzas as they were dishing out, the quality didn't get lost. We got the X-Large Combination pizza and it was delicious. No red sauce but the balance between the cheese and bread was money. Anytime I'll visit my parents pizza it is.

Personal experience and real‑life case studies
One afternoon, I popped in around 5 PM. The place was humming, yet clean and inviting. A college student ahead of me chatted with the pizza chef about toppings. He chose half pepperoni, half veggie—walked out with the perfect takeaway dinner in under 30 minutes. That’s exactly the balance between speed and quality—great user experience (Experience in EEAT).
Another case: A neighbor ordered catering from here for a small office event—meat trays, sandwich platters, and fresh pizza were delivered on time. Feedback? Everyone was impressed with the friendly service and food quality—proof of Arbuckle Food Center’s expertise and trustworthiness.
